(AXcess News) Reno - A Phoenix man dies shortly after police stun gun him performing an exorcism on a 3-year-old girl. The girl was being choked when police broke into the home and used force to subdue the man with hand-held devices referred to as stun guns, which emit a high voltage electric shock.
It turns out the man was the little girl’s grandfather and was performing an exorcism on her believing she was possessed.
The three-year-old girl and her mother were in a room with 49-year-old Ronald Marquez at a house in Phoenix, Arizona Sunday night when a relative called police.
The relative said the grandfather was trying to perform an exorcism.
The patrolmen said they entered the home after hearing screams and found a bed had been pushed up against a bedroom door of the room where the exorcism was being performed.
After forcing their way into the room, several officers struggled with Marquez before subduing him with stun guns.
Phoenix police did not say how many times Marquez was shocked by deputies stun guns before he was stopped.
A deputy sheriff then freed the girl and passed her through the half-obstructed door to a relative.
Marquez was then placed in handcuffs and initially appeared normal, but then stopped breathing.
Police reported that Marquez could not be revived and died later at a Phoenix, Arizona hospital.
A Phoenix sheriffs department spokesperson said, “The man was performing what he believed to be an exorcism which the purpose was to release demons from this very young child.”
Police did not release the name of the girl’s mother nor did they reveal whether or not she was charged with child endangerment following the bizarre incident.

SO….if I had say a noose….could I “exorcise” by annoying cousins?
I mean the kids just won’t shut up….I think they were possessed by the Pokemon demons.
Ok now seriously, this is sick. Its like that guy awhile back who microwaved his kid. At least this guy didn’t get away with it.
