There is this guy called Pete, he watched a random video on the internet linked to by digg. The video said that Pete had no evidense to base a rational belief of christianity because lots of people don’t think it is true. Pete, after 20 years of believing, thinking, seeing, and understanding decided that the voice of a guy on the internet telling him that he was delusional was more convincing than almost a lifetime of personal investigation. Pete now believes that he has been a delusional person all this time, and the only time he has ever had a rational investigative thought was during one 10 minute video of proof through bare faced claiming something is ridiculous, with acompanying video of cartoon people and crosses in boxes. The box is crossed it *must* be wrong.

This is hilarious. An evangelical atheist. Never thought I’d see the day.

While I do not disagree entirely with your premise, you provide just as little evidence as any of the faiths you are speaking about for your own argument. When you call christianity a “fairy tale” and claim this is an absolute fact, you provide no evidence for this. The fact is, there is no way to prove or disprove christianity precisely because it is “faith” based. Your argument that there are more non-christians in the world is not proof that christianity is false. Unless, that is, you believe it is impossible for a minority group to be correct.

This argument is full of holes.

Pathetic attemp by Satan to mascarade himmself as truth. Why live life with no hope of the life to come. We are not all random chances in a big bang accidnet. This vido, two thumbs down, WAY dow.

Okay, Mike. You are trying to prop up a flawed argument. Simply because you have the capacity to ponder you eminent demise does not give validity to “the afterlife.” Furthermore, as has been noted by many great scientific minds alike, evolution is not “random,” but I suspect that you are not referring to that at all. You are simply referring to how everything came to be; the beginning, if you will. Simply because you lack the knowledge of how it all came to be does not mean that it was god. That is where religion stifles the intellectual growth of humanity. Instead of taking the time to study physics, mathematics, dynamic principals, different dimensions…. (the list goes on), you would rather substitute the underlying “how” with god. It’s easier than spending a lifetime learning. Why live life with no hope of life to come? Because you are here. But, perhaps, you should ask the same question to any other species in the animal kingdom. I am sure that you do not believe that they have “souls,” so why should they live life with no life to come after this one?
