For those of you that have been waiting patiently and wondering when Niki would be posting…soon. Unfortunately, she has been been dealing with a LOT lately. (And her pending federal court case is only the beginning.
TJM does not have all of the facts involved yet, but we have received word from her that her family was the victim of arson recently. Someone tried to torch their house recently. I know that she does stop by the blog often, so any words of encouragement left here would be appreciated.
Hang in there, Nichole. I suppose they’d want you to turn the other cheek, but me, I’d get a gun, find out exactly where my property line is, and remember which windows give the best views. I take that Second Amendment seriously.
You’ve been a source of inspiration and a target for admiration from the TJM community ever since we first heard your story. You and your father have actually faced what most of us only dread. We’re all right behind you, and cheering for you.

Good Luck Niki, and I hope all turns out well for you. This is the reason why I’m a semi-closeted atheist. Only very close friends and family, and of course everyone on the internet, but anonymity has its benefits. My condolences on your home being burned, I hope your family is well, and I’ll be thinking of your struggle.

“don’t judge all christians by the act of a lunatic” - We hear this all the time. I’m sick of these excuses. Without christianity, ther wont be any Christian-lunatics in the first place!!

To all the closet cases, COME OUT of the closet! You’ll feel liberated, and your example will encourage others to COME OUT. Support those who are standing their ground for YOUR SAME faith (and lack of it)

It’s fantastic that this girl gets a chance to put her view forwards in a forum which wont get her lynched. I saw the video of her story a while ago and it really moved me.
To hear about all the shit she STILL has to put up with sickens me. The christian god of love is nothing but a dead concept, it seems the holy spirit is a vengeful, spiteful one.
To Nicole and her family - you seem like a loving, intelligent family. There’s no reason at all you deserve the treatment you’re receiving. I hope all goes well for you.
