Ode to Christian Joe
November 12, 2007 by Mark Pogue
Where do you stand on life? When will it begin? When will what begin?” you may ask.
When will peace begin? When will love outweigh the hatred of different faiths, but yet that person and you believe in the same god.?
When is your Messiah returning? You wait for him like a blind man searching for his canine friend that died years before. Has the blind man forgotten about the death or does he choose to ignore the truth? 2000 years is a long time to be searching for truth or proof.
You grasp to any image claiming, “it is a sign”. Your “virgin births”, “miracle healings”, and “Great Flood” claims are only mythological stories, not fact. When I see you raising your hands toward the sky, I suspect this action is an act.
When will you realize no one is coming back from the dead? When will you take responsibility of your evil deeds? When will you stop the actions of your child-molesting clergy? When will you come to your senses and lay down those beads?
When did life begin? Why can’t we live life to the fullest, and let our minds determine sin? You laugh at evolution , saying creation is a must. I’d rather be evolved from monkeys, than created out of dust!

What Christians will sooner or later recognize that Christianity is not worshiping the son of God but the Sun God. Like most religions it is not about Jesus coming back someday in the future. Jesus returns every year… and no, not as a person.
Religions worshiped the Sun God beginning at the end of December with the solstice. Solstice (or to Christians the birth of Jesus) means sun standing still. It is when the Sun is at its lowest arc and might just disappear “under” the earth and not reappear. The second date to celebrate is the vernal equinox… the beginning of spring, new life… or as Christians believe, Jesus’ resurrection. Not the first and not the only religion to mark those two “important” dates.
