TJM IS CURRENTLY FOR SALE
November 25, 2007 by TJM Admin
I have come to a decision with regards to our moniker here at TJM. I have come to this decision through various talks with others involved with this site and though some people that are simply third party voices on the subject.
We have really tried to create a place where theists and atheists can discuss and debate their viewpoints. Some of that goal has been accomplished. Due to our name, though, some have not gotten as involved as they would like to have been. This is completely understandable.
I have purchased the domain name www.reasonvsfaith.com. This will eventually be the new name of the site. All the databases, user names and passwords and such will be transfered over, the transition will be complete once the TJM name has been sold. I believe that the new name is more suited to what we are trying to accomplish.
Thanks!

Don’t sell!
You have a Google PageRank of 4!
That can be transferred over to your new domain. Just set this one to permanently redirect to your new one and Google will transfer your PageRank over.
Also people searching will get hits here, and when they click they will get a 404 if someone else owns it, but you can set it up so that they will be automatically redirected to the corresponding article on the new domain.
DO NOT SELL! KEEP!

I concur with Richard Catto… do a “redirect”.

HALT! IN THE NAME OF LOGIC!
2options.
1) Dave, Just redirect it! 301, 302something like that. keep the domain. when someone goes to an old link, they will be redirected here. (I’m worried about your wordpress link migrating plugin)
2) Keep it. Why the hell do you need a new domain when TJM is something we all love. Seriously dave, the misconception about the name can be explained in the front page itself.
90% of our posts are christianVSatheists. isnt it the best thing to have a christian related kick ass atheist name? Don’t disappoint me david.
And by the way, I’m back on the dashboard.I have enough and more time to be working again.

I don’t get it why you changing?

Don’t change it. However if you “have to” change it for some reason we don’t know then I’d work with you in taking it over. I’d only keep the name with the posts and the urls in tact though, which is the same thing I think you should you did.
