I think I might a little more piqued if I suddenly had a flashback and remembered that my “innocence” had been taken from me to make bricks for a bible-making assembly line. And being used as a repository of priestly sperm. Don’t they at least owe these kids royalites for their contributions???
Right, just what the church needs, another lawsuit…..
This is not funny. Would you say this about other institutions, like schools or a Protestant denomination? Why is it politically correct to make fun of the Catholic Church and not other institutions? Would you make fun of a Muslim? A Jew? A Buddist? Gays? Probably not.
Look at the website link to get a dose of realism.
Why don’t we all make fun of Scientology instead? That would at least have some hint of realism.

A survey of news stories in seven English-speaking countries conducted by the Family Research Institute shows that incidents of teacher-pupil sex are most often perpetrated by male homosexual teachers. Overall, 43 percent of teachers who made the news for having sex with their pupils over the last 27 years were homosexual.
Homosexual teachers violated 1,925 (56 percent) of the 3,457 pupil-victims. Women were 11 percent of perpetrators, but a heterosexual female teacher was least apt to have sex with pupils, Christian Newswire reported Thursday.
Betty, yes I would make fun of schools or a Protestant denomination, a Muslim, a Jew, a Buddhist, and Gays Any group or organization that exists is fair game to be made fun of. Republicans, Democrats, Communist, Fascist, Religious, Whatever. Everything can be made fun of. What the hell would make one particular group immune from satire and/or mocking?
Besides, any group that has boy-fuckers in their midsts, and covers up the fact and then shuffles them around so they can fuck more boys, deserves to be made fun of.
Yes, we act the same toward other religions - You should not feel persecuted because you are a Catholic, but because you are religious.
For evidence of this, just look around the site for awhile. Most of our posts are targeted at Christianity in general, with a heavy slant against protestantism. We have actually received a few threats for our comments against Islam.
I can’t say that I’ve taken the time to single out Judaism, however most of my criticisms of Christianity and Islam also apply to Judaism as they all rely on the same source for their insanities.
I’ve got statistics of my own… Look at the percentage of Christians and Atheists in the US. You’ll find between 60% and 80% Christian, and 12%-25% Atheist. Now, look at the percentage of Christians and Atheists in prison in the US. 75% of the prison population is Christian, but less than 2% is Atheist. Hmmm…. Interesting, isn’t it?
As far as making fun of gays - I’m pretty sure that clip above hammered them about as much is it did Catholics.
At last a priest who speaks the truth! Even a note signed by his Holiness the Pope about the mission of the Church, all for purity.
The Lord indeed moves in mysterious ways.
If there was a God.
Brilliant.

I posted an entire article about Scientology awhile back - http://www.thejesusmyth.com/scientology.htm. I also posted one about Buddhism - http://www.thejesusmyth.com/ra-rips-on-buddhism-or-not.htm
