This movie was pointed out to me by a commenter. I had never watched it, until today. Now, I post here for those of you that have not seen it. Long intro, but good movie.

This is a must-see video! Very very good!
While I don’t agree with all of the conclusions, the arguments presented compel one to carefully consider their viewpoint.
You can skip ahead a full 5 minutes to skip the initial intro, and to 9:50 to skip to Part 1. (you’ll miss George Carlin’s take on Religion, though)

This is something I show people whenever I get a chance.
Essential viewing.

I’ve seen it before and actually saved the file to transfer to DVD later. It’d make a great stocking stuffer at Christmas, don’t you think?
I HIGHLY recommend it. And I beleive that it should be required viewing in all the high school religion classes that seem to be cropping up all over the country lately.

For real? Shall I point out how thoroughly the second and third sections have been debunked (I know less about the first)? The JREF forums have been through it a couple of times now.

Patience,
The second section explores some of the secrecy surrounding 9/11, and they raise several valid points that have not been adequately addressed in public forums. Their conclusions suggest a MASSIVE conspiracy at every level of the government - a government that is still composed of the people of this country. Secrecy does not imply conspiracy. Operational Security and preserving intelligence sources both require extensive secrecy for completely benign reasons.
There is no question that Christianity is just one of a long line of mythologies involving deities, virgin births, December 25th holy day, etc. Christianity incorporated existing mythology as a means of winning converts. The links to the Zodiac may be a bit tenuous, but the fact that the Jesus myth is just a modernization of either Mithra, Horus, or Krishna is quite true and easily demonstrated.

This is an amazing documentary. And if more people aren’t informed then we all will remain naive, ignorant, and inevitably will be completely controlled by The Federal Reserve. So, if you want to keep your freedoms and rights I suggest you pass this on.

i think some of the ideas posed in this film are self-evident, and this is obviously what scares people. figuring out you were mislead because you’ve been lied to, is scary.
people tell stories to pass tradition. i think our ancestors took something too literally on the way.
or they were just trying to give us a reason to run faster in the cog to turn the gears.
